The royal family is getting ready for Christmas. Windsor Castle and St. George's Chapel are now decked out with Nordmann fir Christmas trees and traditional decorations.
Photographers captured the festive transformation taking place, with the Daily Mail reporting that the queen's Christmas trees are specially grown in Windsor Great Park for the monarch. Several trees were erected at Windsor Castle, including 15 foot Nordmann firs in the Crimson Drawing Room, and a 20 foot tree in St. George's Hall. Casual.
Royal fans will recognize St. George's Hall as the room where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry first introduced baby Archie Mountbatten-Windsor to the world. The gorgeous tree doesn't quite reach the ceiling of the ornate room, but it looks completely regal, nonetheless.

Meanwhile, a member of staff from the Royal Collection Trust prepared the decadent Grand Service in the State Dinning Room at Windsor Castle. If you thought that your own table settings were pretty suave, you might want to think again.

While the royal family traditionally celebrates Christmas on their Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are opting to celebrate the festive season in 2019 with Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland. A spokesperson for the Sussexes revealed, "Having spent the last two Christmases at Sandringham, Their Royal Highnesses will spend the holiday this year, as a new family, with the Duchess’ mother Doria Ragland."
