Meghan Markle Wears an Altuzarra Suit to Wellchild Awards with Prince Harry
Meghan Markle is back to wearing her signature tuxedos. For her first appearance at the WellChild Awards with Prince Harry today, the Duchess of Sussex suited up in chic, all-black separates by Altuzarra. She finished off the sleek look with a Deitas camisole blouse, a clutch, and black pumps and wore her hair in her go-to low bun.

For jewelry, the Duchess added some sparkle to her look with a pair of diamond and pearl earrings gifted from the Queen.

WellChild is a charity that supports children and young people battling serious illnesses, and Prince Harry has been a patron of the organization since 2007. He is slated to present awards and meet winners with the Duchess.
This marks Markle's latest public engagement, following her appearance last week at Hamilton in the West End for a gala performance benefiting Harry's charity, Sentebale, which supports children affected by HIV. For that event, the Duchess also went the suited route with a tailored tuxedo dress by Judith & Charles.
The former actress has previously frequented pant suits in her royal career. During her and Harry's royal trip to Ireland in July, she wore separates by Givenchy. During the Endeavour Awards in February (one of her earlier public engagements), she wore a tuxedo by quintessential British designer Alexander McQueen.

Although the public may often see the Queen and Kate Middleton, for example, in modest skirts and dresses, "there is no rule book" banning suits for women in the royal family, royal commentator Victoria Arbiter previously told BAZAAR.com.
“If you go back and look at royal pictures over the last 20 to 30 years and at any given time you'll see the Duchess of Cambridge certainly in trouser lots of times," Arbiter said. "Princess Diana wore a tuxedo suit on several occasions."
